Tankless Water Heaters

Tankless water heaters use heating coils to heat the water when you need it. Because they don’t keep a tank of water at a certain temperature, tankless water heaters, especially natural gas ones, are more energy efficient than tank water heaters.
But they can provide only a certain amount of hot water per minute. So a major consideration is how many gallons per minute (GPM) your household might need and whether you will use water in more than one way at once. The higher the GPM rating, the more water the heater can produce. If you use water in multiple ways at once–showering and washing dishes, for example–then a tank water heater may be a better choice.
Common problems with tankless water heaters that lead to repairs include mineral buildup, corrosion, excessive demand, and venting problems. Hard water can cause mineral buildup, leading to inefficiency or even damage it. Corrosion, trying to use more hot water than the heater can produce, and improper venting can all trigger the water heater’s computer to shut down entirely.
Whether you need a tankless water heater installed or repaired, Freedom Plumbing and Drain can provide outstanding, professional service.
Matt was incredibly personal and helpful throughout the entire process. He fixed the issue, kept true to his word on price and kept us in the loop throughout the project! Sometimes “plumber talk” can be over your head and he was patient and educated us on the issue and the repairs so we felt comfortable with the investment! All around incredible and will continue to use him in the future!
Matt was very knowledgeable, courteous, respectful of property, and thorough. I really appreciated his patience and understanding when there was a need to explain services required & reason for said repairs. He addressed all of our questions and offered some we hadn't thought of yet. I WILL be recommending Matt and his team to my family and friends.
Matt made it to my home when it was my turn in his long list of clients during this past Texas freeze. His main concern was making sure I finally had water to my house after 5 days. He capped off the broken line so that I could have water again, a second leak was found and he repaired that also and turn on the water. Thank you again Matt.
