Periodically you should have your drains cleaned as part of maintaining your property’s plumbing system. Over time drains fill up with soap, hair, oil, grease, or other debris that can result in clogs.
The cause of a drain clog often varies with its location. Hair is often the culprit in shower or bathroom sink drains. Food and cooking grease usually clogs kitchen sinks. Sewer lines are usually blocked by roots that have grown into the pipes underground. Then there are the various toys and other foreign objects that make their way into drains.
There are three ways to clean drains. The first, chemical drain cleaner, is often used by homeowners but not recommended by professionals because it can damage your pipes. The second is a drain snake, which is the professional plumber’s first line of defense because of its effectiveness. The third method is hydro jetting, where a machine pushes extremely high pressure water through your pipes. It’s especially effective on grease clogs, foreign objects, and lines with multiple clogs.
Whatever may be clogging your drain, Freedom Plumbing and Drain determine the cause, clear the clog, and get your drains back to normal again.
Matt was incredibly personal and helpful throughout the entire process. He fixed the issue, kept true to his word on price and kept us in the loop throughout the project! Sometimes “plumber talk” can be over your head and he was patient and educated us on the issue and the repairs so we felt comfortable with the investment! All around incredible and will continue to use him in the future!
Matt was very knowledgeable, courteous, respectful of property, and thorough. I really appreciated his patience and understanding when there was a need to explain services required & reason for said repairs. He addressed all of our questions and offered some we hadn't thought of yet. I WILL be recommending Matt and his team to my family and friends.
Matt made it to my home when it was my turn in his long list of clients during this past Texas freeze. His main concern was making sure I finally had water to my house after 5 days. He capped off the broken line so that I could have water again, a second leak was found and he repaired that also and turn on the water. Thank you again Matt.
