Your water line carries water from the public water supply (under the street) into your home.
Do you know how to recognize water line problems? Leaks can cause sudden increases in your water bill. Breaks can cause significant drops in the water pressure throughout your home, as well as sudden and unexplained flooding in your yard. Other signs include uneven flow rates in fixtures and faucets (“stammering”), brown or contaminated water, water that has a foul odor, and unusual noise (like running water).
Water line damage can be caused by a number of different factors. Roots can penetrate lines, causing cracks, breaks, or clogs. Water line pipes can corrode over time. Heavy landscaping equipment could crush the line. Pipes can deteriorate or wear out due to age. Soil can shift or move, leading the line to dip instead of run straight and affecting pipe joint integrity. Sudden drops in water pressure can also damage or break water lines.
Water line problems can shut down your entire plumbing system–and the flood of water could cause very expensive water damage to your property. Contact Freedom Plumbing and Drain as soon as possible so we can repair the problem and minimize the damage.
Matt was incredibly personal and helpful throughout the entire process. He fixed the issue, kept true to his word on price and kept us in the loop throughout the project! Sometimes “plumber talk” can be over your head and he was patient and educated us on the issue and the repairs so we felt comfortable with the investment! All around incredible and will continue to use him in the future!
Matt was very knowledgeable, courteous, respectful of property, and thorough. I really appreciated his patience and understanding when there was a need to explain services required & reason for said repairs. He addressed all of our questions and offered some we hadn't thought of yet. I WILL be recommending Matt and his team to my family and friends.
Matt made it to my home when it was my turn in his long list of clients during this past Texas freeze. His main concern was making sure I finally had water to my house after 5 days. He capped off the broken line so that I could have water again, a second leak was found and he repaired that also and turn on the water. Thank you again Matt.
